Submission

Econometrics Letters welcomes submissions of short papers, notes, and letters in all areas of econometrics.

How to submit. Manuscripts should be sent as a PDF to submissions@econometricsletters.org with the subject line “Submission: [manuscript title]”. Please include a separate title page with author names, affiliations, and contact details; the manuscript file itself should be anonymised for double-blind review.

Format. Manuscripts should normally not exceed 5,000 words, use 12-point font, 1.5 line spacing, and include an abstract of at most 150 words, keywords, and JEL codes. References follow the author–date (Harvard) style.

Review process. All submissions are screened by the editors and, if suitable, sent to at least two anonymous referees. First decisions are typically returned within 8–10 weeks.

Fees. The journal charges no submission or publication fees.

Ethics. The journal adheres to COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines. Submission implies that the work is original, is not under consideration elsewhere, and that all authors have approved the manuscript.
